Other Pieces of Our Project:

The Philadelphia Economic Equity Project (PEEP) works alongside the Partnership for Social & Economic Mobility; both housed within The Center for Public Service and Policy at the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. Collectively, PEEP, the Partnership, and the Center work to drive forward our mission to advance equitable economic mobility for individuals and communities.

The Center for Public Service & The Partnership for Social and Economic Mobility:

The Partnership for Social and Economic Mobility is a collaborative research initiative that unites the strengths of three institutions: Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and Columbia University in New York, NY. Building on timely data generated at these universities, the Partnership uses localized and actionable information to guide practice, policy, and investment decisions surrounding poverty, hardship, and economic mobility in NYC, Charlotte, and Philadelphia.

The Center for Public Service and Policy is a dynamic R&D hub and do-tank. Home to the Partnership for Social and Economic Mobility and PEEP, the Center stands as a conduit, translating research into actionable solutions that can be readily scaled and replicated within local communities. The Center will also serve as a place for current and former local public executives to develop policy ideas and approaches to economic mobility with solution leaders and researchers. Merging academics and experiential learning, the Center will cultivate and inspire a pipeline of public servants with opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

Together, the Center for Public Service and Policy, the Philadelphia Economic Equity Project, and the Partnership for Social and Economic Mobility embody a steadfast commitment to drive equitable economic mobility through research, innovation, and partnership.
